2024 Rocheport Plein Air Schedule

Please note: The schedule for 2024 is taking shape (see below) - more updates will be added as locations are confirmed.

Thursday, September 12th

8-5 PM: Check-in at Community Hall. Get your paper/canvases stamped before going out to paint.

We will have maps with places we encourage you to paint. Thursday is yours to explore.

12-5 PM: Les Bourgeois vineyards & other locations at the Bluff Top.

ALL DAY: Free paint for those who want to explore on their own. Please note: All paint out locations are optional.

6-7:30 PM: Mix it Up mixer! Grab a drink and mingle with our 2024 Plein Air artists. Location: Mount Nebo Inn patio.

9:30-2 PM: Morning paint out: The Nature Conservancy in near by Huntsdale with views of the river.

1-5:30 PM: Afternoon paint out: Along the Katy Trail

ALL DAY: Free paint for those who want to explore on their own. Please note: All paint out locations are optional.

2-4 PM: Nature Sketching Workshop. For more details & to register go HERE

6-8 PM: Sunset Paint (location the A-Frame at the Blufftop). Receive 15% off your meal & drink at the A-Frame.

8-1 PM: Morning paint out: Historic downtown Rocheport

Most of the day: Free paint

2:30 PM: Deadline to turn work in for judging

5-6 PM: Sneak peek cocktail hour for sponsors and VIPs. Purchase tickets HERE

6-8 PM: Art exhibition, awards, and art sale at Community Hall

10AM-12 PM: Watercolor Workshop. For more details & to register go HERE

12-2 PM: Cyanotype Workshop. For more details & to register go HERE

5-6 PM: VIP Sneak Peek / Preview cocktail hour (tickets $20)

6-8 PM: Awards + Art Reception at Community Hall on 3rd / Hwy BB with live music & food - free and open to the public
