Hannah Ingmire

I’m addicted to creating art and work every day with mixed media. Presently I’m interested in painting fabrics with collage combinations. Connecting very early art concepts with modern ideas fascinates me. I have BFA from Grinnell College and did graduate work at the University of Iowa and Carnegie Mellon. I teach committed adults in my home in small groups and private lessons to help support my painting habit!

I create small batch kitchenwares, utensils, and home decor by combining clay, wood and metal with a "primitive modern" aesthetic. My work has been featured in Bon Appetite, Vogue Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune and can be found in various shops and restaurants around the country.
