The vase is made of ambrosia maple with an inlay of California buckeye burl. Also, there are inlays of crushed lapis lazuli stone on the circumference of the vase, the center of the vase, and on the boundary of the maple base. There is a test tube inserted at the top of the vase. The vase is finished with teak oil and waxed with Renaissance Micro-Crystalline wax polish. 11” in diameter.
