Opening Reception: January 11 (6-8)
Each year, our annual food-themed show invites artists and viewers alike to partake in an opulent visual feast, exploring the complexity of our relationship to the edible. In this show, CAL’s walls feature depictions of consumption, indulgence, obsession, and desire, juxtaposed with simple pleasures, sweet nostalgia, comfort, and even reverence for the precious morsels that sustain us. Here, artists are encouraged to explore that which tempts their most gluttonous appetites, or remind us of the perils of our own intemperance.
