Welcome to the exciting, messy, and often-unpredictable art of acrylic pour! In this workshop, we will cover the basics of paint preparation for different effects, the “swipe” technique, and a few methods to create “cells”.

We will attempt to control the outcome of our compositions, while ultimately letting the paint do its thing-- watching it develop is the fun part. Prepare to be mesmerized by this dynamic medium!

Paintings will be created during the workshop & will need to dry flat for 24 hours. They will be available to pick up during open hours at CAL. If you need to take your paintings with you on Sunday any minutely unlevel storage/transport during the first few hours will change the painting.
