ART CAN BE FUN!

Community Pop-Up!

Due to CAL at the end of April, 2026

On Display end of October / early November (exact dates will be announced closer to the show)

Draw, paint, mark-up a 4” x 6” piece of paper - make whatever you want! Paper should be thicker than printer paper (card stock, watercolor paper, etc.

If words are more your vibe, write about art - why it’s fun, why it matters, what you like about it, why it’s needed.

When you’re done, send it or bring it to the Columbia Art League and we’ll display it in the Fall (late October / early November. If you are local, please include your name and email so that we can get it touch with you about the show.

If you received the postcard about this show during the T/F Film Fest, don’t worry about postage or addresses, it’s all done for you on the other side of this card! DUE BACK TO US by the end of APRIL 2026.

If you are sending in or dropping off your own “postcard”, we’d still love it by the end of April but if you turn it in later, it’s okay. We will not hang any after the start of the show in the Fall.

Our mission is to support artists of all ages on their art journey and to provide a space for the public to learn about and appreciate art. Our community gallery shows remove barriers of participation with the goal of reminding everyone that, you too, are an artist.

Sales for this show will be donation based - if someone wants to purchase your work, you are agreeing to the sale of your postcard as a donation. CAL would like to pass along these donations to another non-profit in our community that is actively working with individuals in our community who need extra care. We will determine which non-profit that is as we get closer to the Fall and see what the needs are in our community.
