Mentorship Program 2026

On display in the South Gallery of the Columbia Art League

May 12 - June 4, 2026

Reception: Thursday, May 14, 5:30-7 pm

In January of each year at CAL, high school art students are paired with a local artist to work together throughout the semester. Pairs meet in person at least twice monthly to problem solve & make time to create.

With the guidance and support of their mentor, each student develops a small portfolio of work that reflects their exploration of a concept or theme.

Throughout the program, selected students also attend professional development workshops to learn how to maintain a good art practice.

This exhibition is the culmination of their explorations.
