On display in the Betty and Art Robins Group Gallery at the Columbia Art League
9.15.26 - 10.15.26
Reception: Friday, September 18, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Here is the prompt our artists responded to in creating this show:
Objects carry their own quiet history. Look closely at the world around you and notice the stories hiding in the things we overlook. For this show, we encourage you to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary, drawing inspiration from objects discovered, collected, or rescued from everyday life. How do these items connect us to memory, place, and imagination?
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RIBBON WINNERS!
1st: Jill Heir, The Dhow Lantern
2nd: Pamela Gainor, Cats! Cats! Cats!
3rd: Raqib Bashorun, 'ÌWO GÀGÀRÀ' [Wild Horn]
