Bio:

Kelly Durante is both an experimental biologist and lifelong artist. With degrees in biology, psychology, and anthropology and three decades working with cells in medical research, scientific themes permeate her work. Kelly’s approach to pour painting incorporates experimental methods and techniques that she has developed to gain greater control over her final compositions. In her “precision pours” she brings structure and order to an inherently unpredictable medium.
