Bio:

After working for over 30 years in healthcare, I’ve long understood the value of stillness.
My photographic work, grounded in slow shutter speeds, movement, and layered exposures, is inspired by time spent near the water and in the woods, where I find peace and renewal, and rejuvenation. My work integrates vintage and specialty lenses, along with in-camera techniques, to create soft, painterly images that invite quiet reflection and offer viewers a visual place to rest.
Recently, I’ve turned to mixed media as a natural extension of my photographic process. By incorporating texture, layers, and hand-applied materials, I’m discovering new ways to deepen the emotional resonance of an image. Regardless of the medium, whether photography or mixed media, my work centers on softness, stillness, and the beauty that can be found in quiet moments.
