Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Kelsey grew up in a very artistic family. She received her BA in Art History at UCLA and her MFA in Photography from The Academy of Art University. She has long worked in nonprofit arts organizations and was the director of the now closed Craft Studio at The University of Missouri. Kelsey is passionate about integrating art into our daily lives through making, looking, and appreciating.

Kelsey enjoys drawing and making marks in her daily sketchbook practice. She is often heard repeating the phrases: practice makes progress and a sketchbook is not a precious object, it is an artist's tool!
