Camellia Bird is a multimedia artist based in Columbia, Missouri. Her work explores the limits of memory and reality, probing the roles climate change and technology play in how we experience and understand our memories and conception of reality. Bird experiments with the notion of media as the message, utilizing a wide array of materials in her work, from video and audio to acrylic, from textiles to ceramics, with the goal of discovering the form of each piece she attempts.
