Jeanne Pascale, Late Summer Harvest
Jeanne Pascale, Late Summer Harvest
Oil on panel, 9 x 12, Framed
Pascale spent the first nine years of her life in New Jersey, where her view was the Manhattan skyline and a trip to the movies with her grandparents meant Radio City Music Hall. A move to south-central Arkansas meant opportunity for her parents, but it took Jeanne many years to appreciate Arkansas on her own terms. Later periods living in Dallas, the Boston area and Montreal, Canada all had a profound effect on her creativity. Years later, she came full circle with a move to central Missouri. Jeanne now finds equal inspiration in viewing a ballet performance or a rural Missouri landscape.
Jeanne paints primarily in oils, but also works in watercolor, pastel or pencil. She enjoys still lifes, florals and landscapes, particularly streetscapes.
She lives in Boonville with her husband, Patrick Hanna, and their cat, Figgy.
