Tabletop is made from a slice of a Carpathian elm burl cap with inlaid birds and lapis lazuli crushed stone. The inlaid birds are made from bloodwood (tropical South America), amboyna burl (Southeast Asia), ebony (Africa), and black walnut (Missouri). The base of the table is black walnut, a mixture of sapwood (light) and heartwood (dark). I also inlaid some ebony strips in the base. The tabletop is finished with teak oil, wipe on polyurethane that has been rubbed out, and Renaissance Micro-Crystalline wax polish. The base was finished with teak oil and wax. Dimensions: 25.5” x 18” x 24.5”.
