Gelli Printmaking and Collage with Kay Foley (3 Week)- Saturdays, 10AM-12PM from October 24-November 7

from $110.00

Saturdays, October 24, October 31, & November 7 from 10am-12pm

In this 3-week class, we will be emphasizing play and experimentation. We will explore some simple, beginning gelli printing techniques. We will create texture using a variety of objects that you and I will bring to class. Then we'll use patterns, natural materials, and both negative and positive shapes that we will create in class to add second or third layers to our initial prints. We will then cut up our prints and piece them together to create pleasing compositions. Optionally, we'll embellish those compositions with additional paint, pencil, crayon, or other media, and perhaps add additional bits of paper.

All levels welcome.
