Saturdays 1-3pm, July 20th-August 31st

(No Class on Saturday, August 17th)

Explore a world of mythical creatures created by you! We'll begin with a brainstorming session to develop unique character ideas, then refine them using thumbnail sketches. Next, test color ideas through small color studies, ensuring our creatures are vibrant and dynamic before beginning the final piece. Finally, we’ll discuss framing and preparing artwork for the upcoming Monsters & Myths show at CAL. Entering the show is not a requirement for or included in this class. If that is your goal, you will likely need to work on your art outside of class to finish in time for the show.

For the first class, all you will need to bring is your creativity!
