Urban Sketching: “No Fear”
Tuesdays, October 7th-October 21st from 5:00-7:00PM
Discover the art of capturing the world around you with quick, expressive urban sketches. This 3-week class will help you overcome the fear of the blank page while building confidence in perspective, light, & shading. You’ll practice drawing on location in downtown Columbia, focusing on observation and storytelling through sketching. Using simple tools—pencils, pens, or watercolors—you’ll learn to work quickly, loosen up, & develop a satisfying sketching habit. This class has no rules, no judgements, & lots of fun, making it perfect for beginners & seasoned artists alike.
This class is taught by Dan Killebrew & held in the CAL classroom at 207 South Ninth St.
