I had fun at the Field school again Tuesday night when I was there in the gym to talk up our Summer Camp to families.

. Some kids recognized me from Adventure Club at their elementary schools! I’m famous!

I got to see my preschool pals in Ms. Janice and Ms. Kelli’s room at Field again today. Everybody remembers me and is so happy to see me! Today we read Bear Snores On, talked about the bear in this picture and made bear dens. I wish someone would make a cozy cubby for me to curl up for my cat naps…Meow for now!

Today Ms. Patty and I visited Ms. Sandy and Ms. Barb’s morning and afternoon CPS Title I preschool classrooms at the Field school. We had a great time counting colors in the book Dog’s Colorful Day, talking about this colorful photograph and drawing with glue and painting with colored sand. I made lots of new friends today! Dogs can be cats’ friends too. ~Meow for now!

I am so thankful that so many CAL Art Kids made Valentines especially for me. They gave them to me and some placed theirs in my decorated Valentine Box.

Meow! It’s me again, CAL Cat. I have been very busy visiting many school children this month. I got to meet kids in Adventure Club at Blue Ridge, Cedar Ridge, Derby Ridge, Fairview, Grant, Lee and Midway Heights elementary schools. I traveled there with CAL teachers Miss Sadara, Miss Stephanie, and CAL’s Education Director Mrs. Patty. Today we just got some thank you cards in the mail from the kids at Blue Ridge – they made me very happy! Soon, I will post some pictures of my travels.
